1.Does the student-centred principle in teaching mean that teachers do not need to teach any more? How do we deal with the relationship between the teacher and students in a student-centred classroom? Should the learning process be led by students or the teacher?

2.In the process of a lesson, teachers often pose questions to the whole class or to a single student. Sometimes, the answer from one student takes two to three minutes and the others do little but listen. Pair works are only conducted occasionally. Does this kind of teaching activity really reflect the student-centred principle? Why or why not?

3.Design a reading activity for second year students based on the materials in section 1.
