Life in college is always a precious part in most people’s life. Students not only learn knowledge there, but also deal with people and life independently on their own. This quasi-society experience is said to be the prep school for students before they enter into the real society. This unit is going to look at the life in college and to make a brief introduction.

b. The quality of the students on campus and the teaching staff.
c. The service and recreation facilities available on campus.

This unit introduces two aspects of college life. Passage one is about students on college campus, the international students in particular. It introduces the definition of this group of students and explore the reasons why they come into being. Passage two deals with college life all around the world by making a comparison and contrast in four aspects: student life, systems of higher education, teaching and learning style, campus facilities and service.
