28 Thus conscience does make cowards of us all,
And thus the native hue of resolution
30 Is sicklied o’er with the pale cast of thought,
And enterprises of great pith and moment

And lose the name of action.

A2: In the text, Hamlet made it clear that the excessively prudent thinking leads to a thinker, but not a doer. Thus, from the bottom of his heart, he preferred to be the one that take actions. In order to do that, he needed to live and take the responsibility to change the society, to save humanism.
Q3: What’s Shakespeare intention of creating a character like Hamlet?
A3: Hamlet is created to suggest that a person who are given a great undertake should be responsible and brave enough to take over and make a difference. For Shakespeare, he saw what the society had become. The darkness, the evil and the unfairness prompt Shakespeare to take actions. So he wrote this play and clarified his stand.
