1) To get familiar with the novel plot and practice the spoken English
2) To cultivate the students’ ability of appreciating novels
Each group (totally three) chooses one novel recommended by the teacher;
1) Delivery a presentation to share the results with classmates.
2) Choose one chapter, pick up a scene, play the story in front of the class.
1) Each group chooses a different novel and completes reading. Add a piece of music and a PPT with pictures for each novel. Make a conclusion of the main elements – story, plot, character, point of view, theme and setting.
2) The best group will get the chance to play one chapter of the novel for the whole class.
