Shops are gaily decorated; promotion starts long before the holiday season; and millions plunge into the flood tide of shopping. For this reason, some argue that the traditions of Christmas are disappearing. Millions of gifts are given and received, but few would be handmade millions of dinners are held but few would be made from produce from one’s own garden and farm.
