Dr. King has gone to great length to preach the importance of economic security to the black and the whole society. His allusion to the Bible and commitment to nonviolence set up a brand new model to the black struggling in social and mental chaos back then. His “love therapy” sounds peaceful and lovely, yet too idealistic in front of the turbulent situation in the 1960s. Nevertheless, Dr. King was fully devoted to his nonviolence scheme.
